Loving and organized part-time Nanny needed for sweet 6 month old baby girl in Port Credit!
This warm and caring but busy family is looking for part-time assistance taking care of their new baby girl! At a minimum, the family is looking for Monday to Friday, 4pm -7pm, but the family is open to offering additional hours during the week or on the weekend. Please state what hours you are looking for.
Childcare is the main focus of this role. You would be responsible for:
Taking baby to doctor’s/Physio appointments
Implementing a baby-led weaning approach, preparing homemade finger goods
Keeping baby engaged between sleep times without the use of screens
Evening bath time
Taking baby on walks
Planning and leading sensory, motor and speech development activities
Preparing bottles and changing diapers, etc.
Regular cleaning related to the baby: play area, sheets, baby’s tub, baby’s dishes, baby’s room and baby’s laundry.
Picking up the baby from Daycare either using your own vehicle or Uber. You must be physically able to carry the baby in the car seat.
The ideal candidate is someone who is focused on infants and has great knowledge of early milestones and development, as well as someone who can be caring and engaging for a baby of this age.
There is a 5lb dog in the home, but it can be left at another residence if necessary for the nanny’s comfort.
Driving is preferred to pick up the baby from Daycare, but Uber may be used as an alternative for the right fit.
The family is vaccinated and taking COVID precautions seriously, and would appreciate a Nanny who does the same.
