Job Description : View Glacier National Park from your back yard!Mullen Newspaper Co. is seeking a motivated publisher to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cut Bank based newspaper.Our publishers work closely with counterparts at other newspaper groups across the Rocky Mountain Northwest. The Cut Bank office oversees Valier, Browning, and Shelby teams gathering news for this regional publication. The new publisher will be filling a role recently vacated by the former owner and will have the opportunity to help integrate this team with the rest of our Mullen Newspaper Co. publications.This paper is positioned to grow quickly with a motivated Publisher in a booming part of the Rockies. Cut Bank, Shelby, Browning, and Valier continue to have growing local business communities due in part to their remoteness. Cut Bank is an hour and a half from Great Falls, Mont.The ideal candidate will have editorial, sales, and recruiting experience, but we are willing to train an experienced manager looking to jump to a publisher role. This position offers a high degree of autonomy for an experienced candidate.Pay is competitive with a generous profit-sharing bonus structure. Mullen Newspaper Company offers a 4-day, 36-hour full-time work week and generous paid time off.
