Order: 215268
Order Type : Direct Hire
1) In this position, you will be responsible for submitting purchase orders and inventory control.
2) Expedite shipments from our vendors when inventory is low.
3) Track current inventory levels and order new materials as necessary.
4) Track all purchases, shipments and invoices.
5) Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and
compliance of terms.
6) Order products accordingly, based on product tracking and forecasts of sales trends.
7) Purchase tooling and shop supplies per manufacturing needs.
8) Work with receiving to maintain stock levels and organization (includes helping receiving)
9) Authorize payments and forward invoices to accounts payable.
Requirements and skills
1) Proven experience as a purchasing agent
(3 years prior experience)
2) Great organizational skills and time management.
3) Excellent communication skills and being able to multitask.
4) Bachelor’s degree (supply management or business a plus).
5) Good knowledge of purchasing practices.
6) Strong sales forecasting and vendor relations skills.
Pay & benefits
Pay: $31.25/hr.
