Position Overview
This position will be responsible for creating purchase orders for both our Nevada and Montana manufacturing plants, as well as the updating and maintenance related activities around purchase orders and quotation requests. They will be responsible for reaching out vendors and confirming PO deliveries to ensure purchase orders are being delivered on time.
Essential Job Duties
Create and send purchase orders to vendors.
Follow up and confirm delivery dates with vendors.
Confirm lead time of items and pricing with vendors.
Schedule shipments from vendors of material as required.
Spot check of inventory in warehouse to confirm purchase orders need to be created.
Requirements
Experience previously working in a customer facing role required.
Experience previously working in a purchasing role a plus.
Competencies
Experience using ERP systems to create purchase orders. Bonus if you have Sage X3 or Netsuite experience.
Understanding of purchasing and basic supply chain concepts.
