Job Description : Description: We are seeking to hire an individual to assist in developing and maintaining our Quality Management Systems (QMS). These systems include processes and systems related to supplier quality management (selection and review), new product industrialization, document control, engineering and manufacturing change requests, assembly process controls, root cause analysis and collating of quality KPIs for reporting purposes. In addition to developing and maintaining the QMS, the QA Administrator will facilitate and support training and enforcement of the QMS.

The QMS relates to a range applications, including but not limited to:
Fabricated sheet metal components
Structural and sheet metal weldments
HVAC related components including dampers, compressors, motors, fans, actuators, PLCs, media, pumps, etc.
Powder coat painting
Assembly of commercial air handling equipment
AutoCAD and SolidWorks files
Qualities the Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
Detail oriented, organized and thorough
Self-starting, inquisitive, creative and analytical
Articulate and conversive in Quality Control industry standards
Resolute and process-minded
Effective at communicating and facilitating meetings
Responsibilities:
Manage a Non-Conformance and Red Tag system
Initiate, document and drive Supplier and Internal Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Requests (Corrective Action and Preventive Action)
Facilitate vendor and supplier, selection, management and periodic review/auditing
Maintain a Document Control system
Develop Work Instructions
Facilitate FMEA for new and existing product
Inspection of incoming and outgoing product
Document changes to and maintain the policies related to the QMS
Contribute to relevant safety policies and procedures
Read and interpret design documents
Facilitate the implementation of lean methodologies for manufacturing as they relate to Quality Control
Education and Experience:
Experienced in navigating various technologies related to word processing, data collection and analysis i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
(3-5) years of Quality Control/Assurance experience
Quality Control and Assurance experience including
Root cause investigation and analysis
Researching, writing and implementing CARs and Quality Alerts
Developing and updating FMEAs and Quality Plans
Performing inspections
Dispositioning non-conforming materials
Supplier management
Developing and writing work instructions
Developing and writing quality control checklists
Developing and writing policy
HVAC work experience a plus
