Position : Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Description : You must follow the Konverge process and work with different teams on a variety of projects.Developing, maintaining, and monitoring standardized QA processes and artifacts.Ensuring that testing quality standards and user requirements are met.Responsible for the QA and testing of various applications within the organization, in support of projects and releases, aligning with deliverables.Test and maintain the software and make recommendations on how to improve it and avoid future problems.You will also be responsible for supporting our product team with testing, training, and client support.Assist our Business Analyst to gather requirements for future versions and review documentation.Review functional and design specifications to ensure a complete understanding of individual deliverables.Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test plans.Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, and automated scripts.Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.Experience with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC is desired.Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues.Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methodsProvide product support and training to our clients and staff when requested.Successful candidates will have:Over 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing web applications, preferably within an Agile environment in the SaaS industry.Post-secondary education in computer science, information technology, or similar.Experience in automated testing.Strong oral and written communication skills.Solid knowledge of a variety of testing methodologies.Expertise with the nuances of cross-platform testing on mobile.You have worked in a Scrum/Lean/Agile environment.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressDental careExtended health careLife insuranceTuition reimbursementVision careSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)Experience:quality assurance: 3 years (preferred)Software Quality Assurance Occupations: 3 years (preferred)
