Job Description : Quality Control I – Retail

What you’ll be working on
Support the Quality Control II in planning, defining and executing automation-related testing strategies and solutions from business, functional and technical standpoints
Analyze testing results and effectively communicate recommendations for actions to resolve business issues and customer impacts.
Assist with business readiness for all strategic initiatives including P&P development. Coordination support for QA, UAT, P&P updates and training
Maintain Retail Procedures database. Ensure documentation is accurate, follows outlined naming conventions and maintains archived records of procedures.
Participate and provide input into quality assurance plans and gain approval of the quality plan from the stakeholders of the project as required
Develop UAT test case data & coordinate UAT tests with stakeholder involvement to ensure business needs are met, and all potential scenarios are covered prior to any development moves to production
Assist the business in the execution of Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance testing, as required
Assist in summarizing results of analysis and effectively communicate recommendations for actions to resolve business issues and customer impacts while working closely with the Quality Control II.
Assist the business in the maintenance of the Quality Databases and coordinate updates, as required.
Maintain the Onbase JIRA backlog and provide updates to Quality Control II and stakeholders on progress.
Support and assist in drafting and updating quality assurance policies and procedures.
Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of forms, templates and applications to support product and process changes including design to optimize optical character recognition.
Coordinate security access requests for Retail Operations
Review, document and communicate changes to standard security profiles to ensure system security is current based on Business requirements and that access meets audit requirements
What you’ll need to have
3+ years’ experience in quality assurance and/or UAT methodologies
Experience working in Empire Life Retail administration systems
Knowledge of Insurance products and their applications, test strategies, test plans, requirements analysis and traceability and development lifecycle
It would be nice for you to have
Completion of courses in quality assurance principles and methodologies is an asset
