Job Description : Telecom Tech School’s mission is to raise the standards of the telecom industry. We believe there are two ways to build telecom networks: the right way, and again. The purpose of the this role is to recruit prospective students that include High School Seniors, Transitioning Military and existing workforce for enrollment and completion of desired courses at Telecom Tech School. Our goal is to provide a high-quality educational experience for those looking to enter the telecommunications industry as trained fiber optic technicians and similar career paths. Through strategic recruitment and workforce efforts, you will engage prospective students to enroll for professional training and then assist with job placement and continued career success. You will be required to maintain strong relationships with school districts, workforce centers, military installations, government entities and larger telecommunication companies looking to hire trained technicians on a large scale.
This position will report to the CEO.
Position Duties:

Recruit prospective students such as high school seniors entering the workforce, military transitioning into the civilian workforce, existing telecom workforce that need enhanced industry training, and other avenues.
Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with community partners, workforce centers, school districts, military installations, government entities and industry partners.
Represent the school at public education forums, career fairs, events and conferences, virtual events, etc.
Present our course programs to large groups, C-Level Executives, future stakeholders/investors, grant panels, government entities, school districts and other groups.
Assist in maintaining multiple databases including the school database, lead generation, and various CRM’s.
Required to report weekly to the Director of Sales & Marketing on outreach initiatives and successes and include them in any major milestones involving recruitment.
Required to report weekly to the Director of Operations & Finance on enrollment activity, complete school operations, and all operation related projects.
Travel outside of the I-25 corridor will be a requirement of this position; however, it will likely be less than once per month.
Until a School Administrator is hired, the Recruiter will handle day-to-day operations of the school by assisting the CEO.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALITIES

Prior military service and/or military recruiter duty is strongly preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Comfortable speaking in front of diverse groups of people.
Experience working in trade schools or any educational setting is strongly preferred.
Experience collaborating with community organizations/networks.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and experience using web-based data management systems.
Ability to work independently and complete all tasks on time.
Ability to work remotely.
