Job Description : Griffith Centers for Children, Chins Up is a non-profit agency that provides a full continuum of therapeutic treatment and academic services for boys, girls, and families. We strive to provide healing and hope to both individuals and families within our community.
Nature of Position:
The Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist serves a vital role in attracting and welcoming exceptional candidates to Griffith Centers for Children. This role is responsible for ensuring a professional and accurate job posting, screening resumes for qualified candidates, completing initial phone interviews, coordinating in-person interviews, and assisting the Human Resources Generalist with specified orientation and onboarding objectives. As a result of outstanding communication and organization skills, the Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist will positively represent Griffith Centers for Children and fulfill all necessary hiring and onboarding needs within a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and conduct several different types of interviews on a daily basis.
Outstanding ability to carry out ethical and strategic recruitment practices.
Strong and/or proven ability to meet hiring goals and objectives.
Ability to successfully work with all levels of the organization and agencies within the community.
Familiarity with employment law and legislation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Communication, or other relevant field.
Two or more years of experience within a Human Resources role.
Two or more years of experience working with an Applicant Tracking System.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with all levels of the organization when hiring needs are identified to include job description accuracy and recruitment updates.
Post accurate and legally compliant job descriptions to a variety of job boards.
Establish relationships with local universities, agencies, and organizations to obtain a larger and more diverse candidate pool.
Ethically assess candidate resumes according to the job qualifications and business needs.
Maintain regular communication with all applicants to include initial interest, interview invitations, and compassionate rejection notices.
Provide recruitment reports to team managers.
Promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a valuable and meaningful employment opportunity.
Complete initial phone interviews to consolidate applicant pool into a small group of qualified applicants for in-person interviews.
Coordinate in-person interviews with necessary individuals such as Directors, Managers, and Supervisors.
Communicate the need for official job-offers with the Human Resources Generalist.
Assist the Human Resources Generalist with orientation paperwork such as background screening documents and I9 forms.
Work within the HRIS as needed.
Respond to appropriate inquiries made by applicants and new hires throughout the recruitment and selection process.
Maintain an ethical and positive attitude throughout all processes.

Essential Functions:
1. Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
2. Lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds.
3. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
