The Position
We are currently seeking a Regional Community Director (“RCD”) to join the BLDG family. The RCD role in BLDG is tasked with being a strong steward of the BLDG Values, inspiring their teams through exemplary leadership skills while being accountable for the operating performance of their properties. The RCD will provide supervision over the operations of each community in his/her portfolio with a clear understanding of investment objectives as well as the community’s financial, staffing, resident and physical requirements. RCDs will typically oversee four to six communities depending on the size and demands of each community.
Essential Job Functions
Accountable for operations of multiple residential multi-family properties
Be a steward of the BLDG Values and lead, hire, develop and hold the teams accountable based on these values
Assist owners in achieving their investment objectives through a comprehensive understanding of all facets of property management
Develop and inspire onsite teams including providing back-up and support as needed for all communities and on-site staff
Make recommendations to improve the performance of all properties in region
Guide and direct site personnel to ensure the property is operating as required; recruit, hire, train, counsel and review when necessary
Assist in the creation of property budgets and oversee properties meet or favorably exceed these budgets
Working knowledge of multifamily marketing so as to improve and maintain occupancy
Complete understanding of Fair Housing laws – will be required to take annual courses accordingly
Conduct property audits all properties for curb appeal, financial performance, and market positioning
The RCD will spend most of their time onsite and will constantly provide operational training to the onsite teams
BLDG Management has prioritized the health and safety of our residents and staff and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 within the first 60 days of hire. Proof of vaccination will be required no later than 60 days after the employee’s hire date.
Medical and religious exemptions may be requested for COVID-19 vaccine.
Requirements
Minimum of two years Regional Multi-family Property Manager experience required.
Lease up experience within the last 5 years required.
BA/BS Degree preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Effectively manage employees in addition to strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – including Microsoft Excel
Bilingual preferred
Prefer CPM or CAM designation or candidacy
Pay: $85,000 – $125,000 annual salary
