Acadium started with the belief that anyone, anywhere, should be able to get the skills and experience they need to start their career without barriers like price, schedule, or location getting in their way. Acadium gives anyone the tools, support, and mentorship they need to launch their dream career. Acadium is the only platform that provides real work experience, accessible to everyone.
Acadium began in 2017 with a team of 3 co-founders: Richard Shaw, Marco Tundo, and Moe Abbas. Since then, they’ve attracted more than 120,000 student members and over 50,000 businesses to connect through the apprenticeship marketplace.
In 2019, Acadium launched Acadium Plus – a structured income-sharing agreement based bootcamp experience that rivals getting a traditional education for a fraction of the cost, and focuses on hands-on experience to get students hired in marketing. The income-sharing agreement model allows students to pay for the program only after they’ve successfully been hired – enabling anyone, regardless of their financial status, to achieve success. We want to redefine the education model, and ensure students are only paying for value (i.e. getting a job) – Acadium Plus and our income-sharing model are a testament to this.

Goal of this position:
The goal of the Account Manager Role is to be the front facing spokesperson for Acadium Plus. This person will be on the front lines helping on-board new students, assisting students throughout their journey until they’ve been hired, and being an active community member within the Acadium Plus ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for taking calls with leads (both inbound and outbound), qualifying exceptional candidates, and ultimately getting candidates to Acadium Plus.
Responsible for segmenting and running email campaigns on our existing user base to convert members of Acadium into members of Acadium Plus.
After students have joined, responsible for ensuring any administrative questions are answered – often relating to payments, general customer service, etc.
Ensure forecasts are met if not exceeded on a quarterly basis.
Help us refine our process – we’re all responsible for building the best possible version of Acadium Plus and our recruitment process.
Capture and share candidate feedback to help us constantly improve our product
Research and suggest new opportunities for program integration
Work with the team on rolling out new features by engaging in strategy meetings, and providing clear and thoughtful feedback

What you need:
One+ years experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
Proven track record of successfully achieving targets and facilitating growth
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Solid work ethic and an ability to work autonomously
This is a remote role in Canada. Acadium is based out of Ottawa, ON.
