ROLE SUMMARY:
· Sample and grade Barley inbound and Outbound Shipments to ABI Specs.
· Maintain Detail and Accurate records related to (Quality, Safety, Environmental)
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products (excel, word, PP, office), SAP, and various ABI owned technologies
· Help develop and use SOP’s related to job position
· Follow written and verbal instructions
· Work with local team to accomplish our dream
· Actively participate in Voyager Plant Optimization Program
· Perform Sanitation requirements using brooms, Shovels, and vacuum systems
· Perform routine Preventative maintenance inspections on lab equipment
· Assist the team in providing the best malting quality barley to ABI and our customers
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent organization, problem solving & multitasking skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with other in a positive and effective manner
· Ability to demonstrate and monitor safe practices
· Ability to demonstrate and support plant SOP’s company guidelines, quality, and housekeeping standards
· Possess excellent PC skills and the ability to learn new systems
· Ability to perform and meet the physical demands of the position including but not limited to lifting 50 pounds, standing, or sitting for long periods of time, working in loud or dusty environments and wear appropriate PPE
· Effectively share knowledge and adapt to changing processes and standards
· Be able to perform basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
· Highschool diploma or GED required.
· Seed Plant, Grain Elevator, or other agricultural experience preferred but not required
· Ability to work shift hours 8:00a-4:30p M-F and available for overtime when needed
· Willingness to travel between 2 facilities on some occasions
