Job Description : Host (Mariposa Restaurant /Mariposa Restaurant).

Our Story:

Mariposa’s stunning architecture and unique menu of South American-inspired cuisine deliver an entirely new fine dining experience in Sedona, Ariz. Perched atop a scenic bluff, floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive outdoor patio deliver panoramic views of Sedona’s majestic red rocks from every table. The 6,500 square-foot restaurant serves as a reflection of Dahl’s style with a 1,000-lb door handcrafted from African and South American stone and two dramatic glass-enclosed wine vaults that house more than 600 bottles of wine, including many South American varieties. At the heart of the restaurant, Chef Dahl uses a wood-fired grill and wood-burning oven to create handmade empanadas, ceviches, grilled chorizos, fresh fish dishes, mole, and house-made chimichurri sauces inspired by her travels to Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile.

Our Story:
Cucina Rustica means “Rustic Kitchen” in Italian and is inspired by the earthy interpretations of the beautiful Mediterranean countries. The old-world charm, from the décor to the cuisine, is captured within the walls of our rustic Italian restaurant located in Sedona Arizona. Chef Lisa Dahl was the first to bring fine dining to the Village of Oak Creek, where she infused her passion for Tuscan and Umbrian countryside cuisine, devoting her talents to the love of Mediterranean Tapas and seafood plates. Expect to be delighted by an array of vegetarian and vegan specialties, classic pasta dishes, and perfectly grilled steaks on the menu. Responsibilities:

Assist Hosts in providing great quality service to dining room guests.
Maintain cleanliness of parking lot, service areas, and equipment.
Stock all wares needed for proper operation of the parking lot.

Requirements:

Active Food Handlers Card required.

Duties:

Maintain and stock all equipment needed for the efficient use of the parking lot.
Clean Mariposa parking lot and grounds.
Fulfill side duties in assistance to the hosts.
Be cheerful and courteous to all guests, servers, and team members, help maintain cordial decorum of the Mariposa grounds.
Handle guest complaints promptly and pleasantly.
Be the eyes and ears of Mariposa and assist guests to make sure that all is in order.
Attend daily staff meetings before the shift.

Skill Set:

Be able to communicate in the primary language of the restaurant.
