Job Description : Bandit Brewery is a microbrewery in the Roncesvalles area with a large patio and open concept indoor space. We are a group of passionate beer heads who focus on making great beer that we’d like to drink ourselves. We strive for excellence in all aspects and emphasize the importance of working as a team.SUMMARY OF ROLEAs the Restaurant Manager, you will lead all aspects of the brewpub’s restaurant operations. You should be a strong leader, have high work ethics, be very rigorous, self-motivated and passionate about continuous improvement. You will be the role model for all staff ensuring excellent guest experience, and generating an energetic, motivated and service-oriented staff culture.QUALITIES & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant management roleMinimum of 2 years in a high-volume environmentProficient computer skills (POS system, Excel, Google Apps)Solid understanding of budget, sales, cost of goods and labour controlProven success with people development, promotion from within and promoting a positive working cultureProven success with creating training packages including steps of service for all FOH staffExcellent management, communication and leadership skillsProblem solving skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysStrong worth ethicDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruitment, orientation and training of new employeesCoaching, motivating, scheduling and providing feedback and ongoing training of all employees; fostering a motivated, service-oriented staff culture and positive workplace environmentBudgeting and forecasting weekly, monthly and yearly sales; reporting daily sales and location performance; and working with ownership to set and achieve labour targets and other performance goalsOverseeing all front of house and back of house operations; and ensuring a very high standard of organization, cleanliness and executionPitching in whenever required; and supporting the development and growth of the business.Must be active on floor during serviceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Discounted or free foodStore discountSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:We strictly follow all COVID-19 precautions required by the health and safety authorities for our industry.Experience:Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)Expected start date: 2021-07-28
