Job Description : Customer Service + Outdoor Enthusiast – Glacier Park Airport LocationGlacier Outfitters is an outdoor gear and retail rental shop located in beautiful Glacier National Park, Montana. We have two locations, Glacier Park International Airport and in Apgar Village, located inside Glacier National Park. We focus on getting folks stoked to be in Glacier and adventuring our beautiful mountains and lakes!We’re looking for a people person to work full-time at our Airport location that is excited about Glacier, the outdoors, and getting others stoked on their adventure!Job Duties include: – Answering questions about Glacier and our services and providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.- Renting, cashiering and returning gear (bear spray, hiking gear, camping gear, etc.)-Selling retail items and re-stocking retail space as needed- Maintaining, cleaning and organizing retail space- Other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors.Required Skills: – Excellent communication + sales skills-Excellent customer service- Basic computer literacy- Able and willing to lift up to 45lbsDesired But Not Required Skills: – Knowledge of Glacier Park and surrounding area- Experience with outdoor recreation a plus; biking, kayaking, hiking, etc.Starting Date: April thru OctoberShifts: 4 x 10 hour shifts. Leaving you with 3 day weekends to explore! Occasionally, you may be asked to work at our other location inside Apgar Village in Glacier National Park.Perks: Employee Park Pass, access to the use of shop gear, discounted pricing on brand-name gear (pro-deals and dealer pricing).Pay: $16 per hour.
