Sales Analyst – Planner:
Responsible for leading the supply planning and the inventory management for all TNF categories at REI, keeping both the short- and long-term planning top of mind. Goal of maximizing sales through product availability, keeping inventory level inline with REI plans. Work directly with TNF planning to monitor future season PO’s, identifying potential delays and future buy opportunities.
How You Will Make a Difference :
Assist REI Sales Team managing inventory to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to support financial objectives.
Monitor the status of order book activities to identify problem areas and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance of the team
Maximize basic merchandising category profitability by optimizing inventory supply to meet retailer demand and financial objectives that result in minimizing out of stocks.
Track transactions and prepare reports regarding information such as order status, sales results, leads, sales quotas and sales representative earnings
Provide guidance, advice, and training for direct reports
Support the Sales team in the execution of a variety of reporting and analysis the SKU level.
Review and forecast sales performance in detail with Merchandising, Planning –category level analysis
Evaluate stock level and sell through by REI category: recommend stock allocation / replenishment / future season adjustments with sales manager
Support in preparation of seasonal, carry-over purchase plans – ‘Pre-buy’ and ‘Post-buy’ preparation
Initiate analysis of historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities on investments and recommend strategy
Formulate and execute aged stock clearance strategy, monitor and analyze promotional activities
Work directly with REI Planning team on future season vendor plans to ensure on-time delivery
Collaborate with Sales Manager on direct shipment planning and order placement for inline and SMU product
Work in conjunction with Sales Director on 3YP financial plans; update on seasonal basis
Responsible for monthly reporting internally/external.
Participate in TNF/REI Quarterly Business Reviews

Skills for Success:
To succeed as Supply and Inventory Planner you need to an eye for details and being comfortable with numbers while actively looking for solution cross teams for fast changing situations. Communication is key, as in your role you will have to work with different internal stakeholders. As we work against deadlines, planning your short- and long-term activities in the best way possible is also important. What you’ll need:
2 – 4 years of experience in a similar function
Enjoy working with numbers, analytical mind, and sharp attention for details
Strong communication skills, collaboration, solution oriented attitude
Ability to present in front of large groups
Strong written and presentation skills to provide efficient training documents and presentations
Ability to manage projects from a remote location
Excellent MS Office application skills including Excel, Access, and Power Point
Excellent organizational skills (planning, scheduling, and budgeting)
Travel 30%

Salary Range: $66,528.00 USD – $99,792.00 USD annually
Annual Incentive Eligibility :
