By always challenging ourselves – and each other – to push for more, we keep Herzog at the forefront of the rail industry.Herzog Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Scheduler for the Montana Rail Link Project in Missoula, MT. The Scheduler will perform non-routine scheduling assignments, which require the selection and application of resource monitoring principles, techniques, and technical knowledge of a construction project.Duties and Responsibilities: *This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.Perform tasks required to develop and maintain schedules for the project. Includes collecting actual quantities installed per schedules, assess progress data supplied by others, and visual inspection.Update cost-loaded schedules and assist in preparation of pay applications.Support supervision through preparation and maintenance of forecasts and schedules. May draft construction network diagrams for specific area.Develop detailed engineering and construction schedules with construction management. May assemble data from variety of sources including A/E, client engineering, other contractors, and the like.Supervise updating of construction forecast to reflect most current plans/requirements.Interface with other construction departments to provide scheduling data for items such as sub contract change requests, bid comparisons, new work item estimates, and resolution of potential schedule/work problems.May provide supervision and/or on-the-job training to clerical and entry level professional personnel assigned to area of responsibility.Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Four year engineering degree plus two or more years similar construction scheduling experience or equivalent combinations of training and related experience.Working knowledge of and ability to select/apply resource monitoring and control techniques such as CPM networks scheduling, computer scheduling techniques, etc. as well as an understanding of the nature of process systems, structures and construction technology required.Pre-Employment Requirements: Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this positionSuccessfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.Physical Requirements: The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role.
