We are searching for a Security Analyst at Cox Communications that can assist the Third-Party Risk Management team triage and determine risk criticality of third-party service providers, provide applicable security exhibits for inclusion in vendor agreements, and participate in vendor due diligence activities and remediation monitoring.

What Youll Do

Perform initial cyber vendor triage to determine the inherent risk of Cox vendors (i.e., Critical, High, Medium, or Low) that are actively negotiating new services/products.
Provide appropriate security centric provisions (i.e., security exhibit) based on criticality and service/product offering for inclusion in overall agreement.
Assist the team in the collection of documentation and artifacts in support of internal/external audits and security compliance reviews.
Review compliance reports and attestation such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53 and PCI security frameworks.
Provide operational support of the ServiceNow Vendor Risk Management tool, such user basic administration and configuration management.
Assistance with vendor remediation oversight for vendors that based on due diligence assessment findings or findings from continuous vendor monitoring tools.
Collaborate with boundary partners such Supply Chain Management, Legal counsel, Compliance, business relationship owners and directly with the vendors.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e., computer science/computer information systems or equivalent experience)
1 or more years of experience with third party security vendor risk assessments and diligence.
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, ServiceNow workflow, to include the ServiceNow Vendor Risk Management Module (VRM).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to communicate complex problems, including root cause, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
Prefer Certification or working towards industry recognized Certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM)
