Job Description : We are actively seeking DPS licensed security guards and those who wish to become licensed guards for active employment. Morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts are available!
Starting pay for Licensed Security Guards is $15/hr. We pay $1/hr differential for overnight shifts and $2/hr differential for 18+mo of Military or Law Enforcement experience. Qualifying experience plus overnight shifts gives you a starting rate of $18/hr. All posts are standing positions and require your attention and communication with the team.
If you are qualified to obtain a guard card and are interested in starting as event staff as you wait for your guard card you are welcome to interview and discuss the options through Make Parties Happen, our event staff organization. Guard card training is free to everyone we consider for hire. Starting pay for unlicensed guards (aka staff) is $13.25/hr, until license is accepted and processed by DPS. We help with that!
We will be holding interviews every Monday thru Thursday between 11am-4pm.
