SALARY: $31.68 – $36.71 per hour

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Manager of IT Enterprise Systems and IT Service Desk Administrator, the IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing first level incident and problem management supporting the computer User population. This includes the following users but not limited to; incident/problem tracking; first level problem determination/resolution, educating users, user access requests, daily operations checklist, solving hardware/software problems, interpreting operating instructions, call/ticket escalation as required and remote or in person support.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in computer related field or equivalent education and related experience performing service desk functions;Proven proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems as well as Microsoft server platforms;
Firm knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite O365 and standard Microsoft applications (ie. Internet Explorer, Lync), VM-ware, VCenter operations and management;Demonstrated experience with installation and troubleshooting of Anti-virus software and various workstation software;Demonstrated understanding of basic networking concepts including routing and switching, DHCP, DNS and WINS protocols;Knowledge of Meditech Magic and Client Server platforms and EPICan, an asset;Knowledge of software tools to assist in remote support and troubleshooting of technical issues (ie. Web Help Desk, Remote Desktop, System Center Configuration Manager);
Demonstrated effective customer service skills;Effective communication skills both written plus verbal and interpersonal skills;Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations;Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws;Previous Service Desk/Help Desk or IT experience in a Healthcare environment, preferred;
Must have a satisfactory performance record;Must provide a positive Canadian Police Information Centre Record (CPIC);Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health’s comprehensive Safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety with participation in regular in-service education sessions; and,Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard.
