Summary/Objective: The Service Desk Specialist I provides best in class service to end user by providing technical support on a variety of issues. They respond to requests for assistance in person, via phone, or electronically. They follow help desk procedures, logs all interactions, and provides just-in-time training when needed.
Essential Functions include:

Provide first line support for problems with computer hardware, software, and network issues via phone, e-mail or in person
Provide superior customer service while managing relationships with end users, business area leaders, partners, and vendors throughout the Credit Union environment
Accurately input, manage, and process support requests in the ticketing system
Escalate unresolved issues, including all relevant details, to appropriate individuals
Maintain a positive, helpful attitude with end users
Communicate with different stakeholders supporting the technology, including other IT staff, 3rd party support and equipment vendors
Proactively monitor key components of the IT infrastructure
Provide escalation to support personnel when components of the IT Infrastructure are inoperable
Require support on weekends on a rotational basis
Require support after hours on a rotational basis

Reports to: Service Desk Manager
Manages: This role does not have supervisory responsibility
Required Competencies: Adaptability, Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills, Continuous Learning, Building Customer Loyalty, Decision Making, Stress Tolerance, Earning Trust, Collaborating
Required Education and Experience: Minimum two-year degree in Computer Science or equivalentMinimum of one year experience working in a technical support role
Preferred Education and Experience: Working knowledge of Active Directory, VolP technology, and business relevant hardware and software preferred
Work Environment: Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smart phone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full time / 40 hours per week
Classification: Non-Exempt
Location:Broomfield, CO – Elevations BasecampWe value human relationships and are a face-to-face culture, but allow for remote work as long as our employees are onsite the majority of the time.
Compensation: The midpoint of the budgeted range is $52,000 annual salary + annual bonus. The candidate’s starting salary will be adjusted based upon his, her, or their experience.
