Job Description : Bay Bloor Radio, Toronto’s premier audio andvideo retailer, has an immediate opening for the position of shipper/receiver.We are looking for a hardworking shipping department team member. You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock for sales staff and customers.Job Responsibilities: Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.Prepares orders by processing in store and online orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.Provides quality service by following organization standards.Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, and workstations neat.Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Light housekeepingAbility to setup displays and merchandising throughout store as needed.Completes reports by entering required information.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Qualifications / Skills: Customer service orientedTeam playerDependableOrganizedTime management skillsInventory controlData entry and documentation skillsMust be fully vaccinated for COVID-19Hours: 9am-6pm, Monday-Saturday (with a day off in between)Work remotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $15.00-$21.00 per hourAdditional pay:Overtime payBenefits:Casual dressDental careExtended health careLife insurancePaid time offStore discountSchedule:Day shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilityExperience:Shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred)Customer service: 3 years (preferred)Organizational skills: 1 year (preferred)Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)Data entry: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (required)Application deadline: 2022-03-29
