Position : Shipping Associate

Job Description : You will be a part of the Glassical Shipping Team that works directly with raw and purchased materials in order to produce high-quality and beautiful recognition pieces for our valued customers. Our environment is fast-paced, ever-changing, and flexible. This position offers a compensation package that includes a competitive wage and benefits. No experience is necessary, on the job training will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities

Prepares materials for shipment, coordinates carrier pick-ups and accurately presents shipments to carriers with proper documentation
Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order
Completes shipping documents and freight bills for daily shipments
Prepares identifying information and shipping instructions on packages
Moves packages to shipping area using hand truck or pallet jack
Interfaces with all levels of manufacturing personnel as required
Coordinates with other areas of the plant to determine material needs
Assists in determining and initiating packaging requirements for next day’s ship
Processes and maintains returned goods
Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with

You’ll also need to be able to
· Lift up to 50 pounds
· Push utility carts up to 60 pounds
· Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
· Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
· Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

· Surroundings. You’ll be working around machines – Lasers, Color Printers & CNC Router
· Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
