Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY

Summer is almost here and the City of Bozeman is now recruiting for Short Term Recreation Leaders! We are looking for candidates who can commit to the entire season (mid May through mid August.)

If you are selected for an interview you will be contacted by the City of Bozeman Recreation Managers for scheduling.

Plan and implement youth summer camps and community events.
Full-time, up to 40 hours/week, hours/days varied.

Bargaining Unit: Not Represented
Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-Exempt
Work Week: varies, 40 hours/week
Supervisor: Recreation Managers
Length of Assignment: not to exceed 90 working days
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be of legal age (16) to perform the duties of the position;
All employees must possess a valid Class D driver’s license;
Experience working with children is required;
Experience with recreation programming is desired, but not required;
CPR/First Aid Certification must be completed within two weeks of hire.Offers for employment are conditional upon completion of professional reference checks, driving record check, and a background check.
