Job Description : About the role: Do you have a passion for creating engaging content? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment with lots of variety? Are you social media and web savvy, with a strong understanding of managing digital content? Are you organized with a keen eye for detail? If so, we’d love to hear from you!What you bring to the table: – A college or university degree in social media marketing- Minimum of 3 years as a social media marketer and web content management- Understands the importance of customer experience and superb customer support- Excellent interpersonal and exceptional written and verbal communication skills- Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment- Creative, passionate, strategic-minded but with an ability to execute plans- Detail-oriented- Familiarity with Google Analytics- Experience using content management systems – WordPress, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Hootsuite (or similar) and Photoshop- Shopify experience is an assetKey Responsibilities: – Create and plan monthly content calendar across key social channels and produce a weekly/monthly content schedule that aligns with the website, brand campaigns, product launches and events- Responsible for the writing and creating social content while staying aligned with brand, as well as publishing and promoting content on social media (including copywriting, editing and proofreading)- Keeping up-to-date with the latest product and brand information and applying to various mediums- Adhere to corporate brand guidelines and enforce brand image consistency- Other tasks as assigned based on business needsJob Type: Full-timeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Social Media Marketing: 3 years (preferred)
