Apply today, what’s stopping you?*Purpose*The role of the Spa Manager is to facilitate impeccable guest service and assist the Spa Director in the daily operations, leadership and supervision of the Spa. The Spa Manager must be a caring individual who holds our guests and fellow employees in high regard at all times. The Spa Manager will assist in payroll and scheduling as well as inventory and month end inventory reconciliation. Must be familiar with spa software systems, be proficient in word, excel and other apps and inner departmental communication systems.*Primary Functions and Responsibilities**Schedule spa appointments for guests via phone, in-person, Resort App messages promptly and accurately based on availability.Perform end of month inventory and immediately restock any retail items that have been sold.Check retail sales from the previous day(s) to see what should be restocked.Assist in ordering basic operating stock, as assigned by Spa DirectorAssure guest information is accurately entered into Resort system.Provide accurate information regarding services and products and spa facilities.Charge the appropriate guest account for services rendered through Resort systems.Communicate and disseminate guest and spa information to Spa Director, spa concierge and Massage Therapists.Interface with other departments in order to meet guest requests.Answer guest and interdepartmental inquiries by telephone, Resort App, email and in-person.Welcome and escort guests to changing areas and other areas of the spa and fitness areas.Promptly communicate availability and changes in schedule to spa organization in order to assist with scheduling of treatments.Keep detailed record of guest preferences and requests.Perform prep work, if needed, and correctly clean and restock spa as necessary.Handle queries and concerns of guests efficiently, politely and with discretion.Uphold the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.Properly care for tools, spa items, furniture and equipment throughout the spa and resortActively promote the spa, treatments, wellness services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.Maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities.Converse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as instructed by management or the guest directly.Keep up-to-date knowledge on all spa items including any allergens.Ensure confidentiality of all guests and staff at all times, on property or off property.Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all time.Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.Complete laundry daily for the spa and fitness facilities.Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.Assist in the set-up and break-down of the spa facility at the beginning and end of the season.*Supportive Functions and Responsibilities**Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members at all times, take pride in representing The Resort at Paws Up professionally with our guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner.Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.Keep all guest facing areas clean and neat at all times.*Educational, Experience, Licensure Required**High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course workMinimum 2 years management or leadership experience, preferably in a luxury spa or resort environment.Licensure or experience as a Massage Therapist or Esthetician preferable, but not required.Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsProven experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and keyboard skillsProficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the dayHas a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guest, team members, and managementValid State Driver’s LicenseThe Resort at Paws Up provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.Job Type: Full-time
