Canada Goose is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the full cycle process of sourcing and recruiting talent for openings across the organization. As our Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist you’ll provide above and beyond support to hiring managers through their searches, get creative with finding talent for those tough to fill roles, and drive the process along to help the business achieve organizational success.
A day in the life of a Talent Acquisition Specialist:
Working on open roles with a group of highly talented designers, innovators, product engineers and more, who are at the forefront in their field
Finding people for your open roles by reviewing applications to your postings
Sourcing passive talent through different channels and working referrals through your connections in the business
You’ll also spend time working closely with our hiring managers to fully understand the positions you’re working, discuss candidates engaged in the process and help them make the best decision available when you’ve narrowed in on final candidates
Beyond that, you’ll partner with a number of other departments to make sure you know how to bring the brand to life as you talk about what it means to work at Canada Goose
About You:
Will have experience recruiting for roles in a corporate environment, from entry level to senior and niche positions
Understand how to build talent strategies for those tricky positions and be comfortable managing a high requisition load
Ability to deep dive search for niche talent through Linkedin, X-ray search and other means of creative sourcing
Experience leveraging different networking techniques to develop relationships and create candidate pipelines
Experience with coaching and driving hiring managers to make strong decisions that bring long term talent to the company
Bringing a sense of urgency to the process but know how to fun at the same time – everyone involved walks away feeling confident about where things are at
