Job Description : Ticketing Coordinator at MicroSpec Systems Inc.MicroSpec is growing! We are looking for a Ticketing Coordinator to set up ticket sales websites and to travel to work at consumer shows, expos, and festivals across the U.S. and Canada. 80% at home office working on websites and customer service. 20% onsite setting up and managing events. This position is permanent full time and is fully trained.https://www.home.microspec.comJob DescriptionThe ticketing coordinator is responsible for all aspects of ticketing while working as part of a team of coordinators. Tasks include:80%: Create and maintain clients’ ticket selling web pages, learn and interpret and teach clients the TIX123 reporting suite, build discounts and promotions, apply banners and promotional graphics, learn and interpret merchant account processors, and other aspects of ticket sales.20%: Lead all onsite operations of ticket selling across Canada and the U.S. which includes the setup and maintenance of routers, switches, internet wires, power wires, box office terminals, and ticket scanning hardware. Train, monitor and supervise onsite staff for accuracy and professionalismCommunicate accurately and professionally with the public and clients through phone, email, and in person.Other duties assigned by the Ticketing Department Lead.The following skills will encourage success on our team: Comfortable with computer hardware/softwareStrong in google suite of appsExcellent use of the English language, both written and verbalStrong customer service skills – both on the phone and in personMinimum 2 years experience in a similar position to a project coordinatorThe ideal candidate will have the following competencies;Above-average attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressure and prioritize deadlinesAbility to multitask between events effortlesslyNatural customer service focusTough personalities are a goal for you to win over, not shy away fromStrong math skills are requiredAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentRequirementsTwo or more years of customer service experience, event experience is preferredRead, write, and speak English clearly and professionally (French is an asset)You are physically fit and active and can spend long periods of time walking, standing, kneeling, sitting, stretching, and carrying 25lbs as required, and pushing 500lbs crates on wheelsYou are double vaccinated to access venues across North America and can show proof of vaccinationYou have a valid passport and you are happy to travel to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, New York and other destinations across North America to install, manage, and teardown onsite registration, ticketing and lead retrieval servicesYou can provide a 5-year certified driver’s record from the Government of OntarioReliable working vehicle to get to and from showsOnsite work at events is long days, evenings, weekends, STAT holidays, etc (this is the nature of the show industry)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Dental careExtended health careLife insuranceVision careLicence/Certification:drivers license (preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (preferred)
