Position : V.P. Colorado Branch Operations
Job Description : This position is responsible for the overall operations of Member Service for the Mountain region including Branch Operations, Operational Training, and Business Development to include Field of Membership (FOM) expansion, Select Employee Group (SEG) Development, Member Education and Process Improvement. Develops the strategic plan for the department with a focus on departmental enhancements to support corporate initiatives, as well as participates in and/or leads enterprise-wide initiatives or projects. Ensures department and credit union complies with federal regulations, NCUA and SSFCU policies, procedures, and regulations. Oversees resource allocation in the Mountain region, including budget and personnel. Leads new technology and business strategies to improve efficiencies, reduce manual processes, increase revenue and decrease expense. Protects the Credit Union against loss and/or liability by designing and implementing effective controls and ensures all policies and procedures are adhered to and coordinates with appropriate internal and external resources to stay aware of new regulatory guidelines and trends to mitigate credit union exposure. Oversees departmental functions to meet the enterprise strategic plan and monitors departmental performance against those objectives. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Competitive Pay $130k to $250k
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of 10 years of operational experience. Minimum 5 years of management experience in a financial institution or similar environment. An understanding and knowledge of lending, including credit analyses of financial information and administration of loan documentation. Able to qualify for Senior Loan Officer Authority. Ability to develop thorough knowledge of organizational and departmental processes, procedures and systems, company products and services, including the ability to resolve employee and member issues efficiently and with the highest degree of quality. Articulate verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and interviewing experience. Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a highly demanding, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of or ability to learn organizational and/or departmental specific hardware and software systems, process, and procedures. Periodic travel to multi-regional locations, other cities, states and off-site locations and may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
