Position : Veterinary Receptionist

Job Description : Alameda Veterinary Clinic is a very fast paced and busy clinic with 3 doctors. We are searching for a quick learning, friendly, and outgoing part-time veterinary receptionist. Some of the responsibilities would include:

Greet clients and their pets. Help with completing the appointment check in process. This can include the following: inputting new client information, retreiving/scanning in/linking previous medical records, confirming all client/pet information is correct, letting the medical team know the patient has arrived and is ready for check in.
Assist in checking out clients, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, and setting future appointments for follow-up visits.
Answer phone calls from clients and assist them in scheduling appointments, answering basic vaccination questions, answering questions about pet needs, clinic pricing, filling out prescription requests, selling prescription food and more.
Help with the cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital to ensure a great team and client experience.
Knowledge of ImproMed a plus
At least 1 year of receptionist experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
