Position : Videographer / Media Producer
Job Description : Spyderco, an established manufacturing company committed to making superior cutlery, is looking for an experienced Videographer/Media Producer to join our Marketing Team. The Videographer/Media Producer works within the Marketing team and with Management guidance to deliver multimedia assets, specifically overseeing and executing the production and video editing creative process as it relates to the marketing goals and initiatives. Primary responsibilities would include collaborating with the Marketing team to create relevant and impactful videos featuring technical, and/or lifestyle content highlighting our brand, products, and accessories. Content will vary across a variety of audiences and outlets including but not limited to: Social Media platforms, e-blasts, website, Spyderco mobile app, internal training, etc. Other responsibilities would include occasional travel and other various marketing responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate will have command of video/audio equipment, superior skills with shooting, editing and video production, the ability to effectively communicate and interview in person as well as a creative style that fits the knife industry.
Requirements:
Associates degree: bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3-5 years of directly related experience
Experience developing, shooting, editing, and producing video content
Ability to produce branded content with unified look and feel
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
Experience with Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)
Excellent verbal/written communication skills required.
Ability to work with a team or independently is required.
Exceptional organizational skills
Detail oriented
Self-starter
Knife Knowledge is preferred
Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 DOE
