Description
Golden Industrial Supply Co is a distributor of manufacturing and industrial supplies. Our well-established business provides our clients with high quality components throughout a wide range of industries such as: beverage, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and utility. The warehouse and administrative offices are located in Arvada, Colorado.
We are actively looking for a Warehouse Associate. The perfect candidate must be a goal-oriented person willing to work with a dynamic team in a great work environment with excellent benefits. The person must be willing to join our long-standing, family-like team for the long-term. Ideally, this will be a lifetime hire who will slowly grow and expand professionally over many years. This is a full-time, in-person, warehouse position in Arvada, Colorado. You will be required to work in our warehouse during our standard shift: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Our Warehouse Operation is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

We encourage our employees to follow these best practices. Please note: All individuals entering our facilities are required to wear a mask and follow all posted guidelines. All our employees are currently fully vaccinated and boosted.
Responsibilities Include:
· Utilizing, and operating heavy equipment including a forklift
· Perform material handling and warehousing functions
· Order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, and supplies in order to prepare inventory for delivery
· Interaction with carrier drivers
· Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures
· Use machines for weighing, wrapping, packaging, etc.
· Perform housekeeping functions as required
· Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages
· Unload, receive and place incoming inventory items away
· Use our Inventory Management software and follow directions for some tasks
· Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
· Receive truck deliveries
· Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
· Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklift and other gear to move items around
· Ability and willingness to drive the company pick-up truck in order to deliver orders to some customers within the Denver/Metro area (occasionally only)
Qualifications:
We are open to candidates with some warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided on site.
· Ability to lift 40+ pounds
· Ability to follow direction and change priorities
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
· High School Diploma/GED preferred
· Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important
· Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
· Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
· Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment, such as a forklift, may be required for performing you job duties.
· Experience with shipping manifest systems a plus
· Basic knowledge of transmission systems or mechanical aptitude a plus
Salary and Benefits
· The Salary range for this position has a base range of $18.00 – $35.00 per hour, and will be adjusted within this range, based on experience.
· This position is eligible to participate in our monthly bonus program.
