Job Description : PURPOSEThe Warehouse Clerk is responsible for accepting orders, organizing, and distributing goods and products within the warehouse center. They assist the distribution manager in the completion of administrative and clerical duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Principle Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned).Provide direction and support to order pickers, drivers, and 3PL partnersBook delivery appointments with customers as requiredSchedule and liaison with carrier partners to ensure the timely pickup and delivery of sales orders, transfers, and purchase orders within the specified transit matrixEnsure specific customer requirements are met and be familiar with all vendor compliance manuals and SOP’sWork closely with manufacturing and customer service to facilitate strong communication and coordination required to meet and exceed customer expectationsBe fluent in all relevant functions of the Warehouse Management System, including, order processing, inventory and order queries and analysis, transaction and order history, inventory adjustment, and cycle countingBe functional in all customer web platforms for order processing, appointment booking, and order monitoringWork with Banyon and customer portals for EDI and ASN processing.Be familiar with all QC disciplines and requirements regarding order processing and warehouse SOP complianceOrder, maintain, and reconcile CHEP program, including monthly invoices and audits as requiredMaintain all required logs, including but not limited to environmental, vacation, payroll, and trainingEdit and submit weekly and biweekly punch clock and attendance reports in Nova Time and submit to HR in a timely mannerOrder all stationary and office supplies as requiredCoordinate all service repairs required for office equipmentMaintain NAFTA certificatesCreate documentation for international orders and work closely with customs brokersProduct pack-off, sample and courier processing as requiredLiaison with service providers including pest control, janitorial, landlord subcontractors and internal subcontractorsCreate custom labels for customers as requiredCoordinate tradeshow shipments with marketing and sales as requiredCoordinate orders and transfers for sales and production on a daily basisOther duties, projects and tasks as assignedPRIMARY INTERACTIONSSupply Chain, OperationsCOMPETENCIES (Behavioural & Technical Skills)Must be an accurate keypuncherAbility to count accuratelyMaintain a fast pace with time limitsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEDegree/Diploma in a related field preferredCPG experience in (preferred) food or cosmetics industry shipping domestically and internationallyPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
