Job Description : WEDDING ACCESSORY MAKER
REQUIREMENTS

Two years full-time work experience in any field
Previous experience crafting, jewelry making, costuming, metalsmithing, or similar
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to sit or stand 6-7 hours at a time
Must be able to lift and move at least 25 lbs

ABOUT THIS JOB: We believe that love and magic are infused into every one of our products. We are not a mass-production factory, but instead a custom bridal accessory design studio. As a Sara Gabriel Maker, you will use beads, wire, thread, and fabric to make heirloom quality jewelry, hair pins, tiaras, and wedding veils one at a time. We take tremendous pride in the artisanal nature of our products – our Maker’s sign the pieces they create each day!
Specific job duties include:

Setting and gluing crystals and pearls
Wirework and spot soldering (no previous experience required)
Hand sewing with needle and thread
Cutting, ironing, pinning, and steaming tulle, silk, and lace
Making 10-20 hair accessories each day, depending on the patterns’ complexity

DETAILS

This is a full-time, in-studio position and is not suitable for remote employees
The studio is open Mon-Fri and you can start your work day between 7:30-9:00am based on your needs
