Job Description :
Supporting the finance department, accountant, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing budgets, maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.
Assistant Accountant Job Duties :

Daily Routine :

Managing day-to-day transactions

Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable. Not performed.

NEFT and NATCH payments.
Entering financial information into Tally. (passing all entries). Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts.

Handling Employee reimbursements.
Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget. Not performed.
Month End Activities :

Tax Payment. Not performed.
Tax Ledger download. Not performed.

Passing Payroll entries. Not performed.
Completing bank reconciliations. Delayed
Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies. Not performed.
Advance bill booking.
Reporting on debtors and creditors. Not performed.
Passing Related Party transaction entry in tally after approval of appropriate authority. (Quarterly). Not performed.
Year End activities :

Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements Not performed.
Coordinating internal and external audits Not performed.
Assisting in tax compliance. Not performed.
Other activities :

Taking training on topics suggested by senior accounting staff, management, company policies, etc. Not performed.
