Job Description : The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the day to day accounting function of Vimeo India. This includes accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, lease accounting, month end accrual, internal controls and other finance related duties.

This position partners with Vimeo’s corporate consolidation and accounting teams to support Vimeo’s external reporting processes ensuring the integrity of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, applicable financial statement analysis and other supporting documentation for Vimeo’s SEC filing footnote disclosure schedules.

In addition, this role will be responsible for preparation of the financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as supplemental financial information for local statutory, banking and tax filing purposes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principle
Responsible for all aspects of the general accounting function including accounts payable, payroll and fixed assets.
Provide monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to the corporate finance team in accordance with USGAAP, including supplemental schedules required for footnote disclosures and SEC filing requirements.
Oversee the preparation of all periodic monthly, quarterly and annual public filings as required under local requirements.
Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, updating documentation and providing recommendations as appropriate
Identify and resolve technical accounting matters, including the development and delivery of policies, procedures, training, and technology enhancements relating to the implementation of new accounting and financial reporting requirements and changes to existing requirements
Liaise with internal and external auditors as part of the financial reporting process, responding to interim review and year-end audit queries.

Skills And Qualifications

Required accounting or financial Qualification like Masters in Accounting or Finance, CA / CPA/ CFA
Relevant Work experience of minimum 6 years in an MNC or accounting firm
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in managing AP, payables and benefits in a public multinational
Experience in leading the annual and quarterly audit process
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Must be current in the U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and SEC accounting and reporting requirements
Experience in Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle R12 ERP
Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity and willingness to take ownership of complex matters
Exceptional leader with ability to develop team members
Superior work ethic with high level of accountability
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
