Position: Analyst-Digital Content Curator

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

As a digital content curator, you will be primarily responsible for optimizing the web content of the product pages primarily related to our Chemistry portfolio, working in close relationship with our eBusiness organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand customer needs, match it with the data gaps and optimize the pages accordingly to enhance customers’ online experience.

Our eBusiness organization is focused on creating a customer-centric experience and is responsible for driving our multi-billion euro channel which supports >40 million visitors and transacts millions of orders each year. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Implement content and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to continually improve web traffic, product visibility, product searchability, conversion, and overall sales

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Digest complex scientific subject matter from data obtained by peer-reviewed papers, books and technical data sheets and write content that customers will find most useful during product evaluation and help them in their purchase decisions.
Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Quality validation of the content generated by others
Publishing content via the Company’s content management system
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as necessary to meet our eBusiness objectives & key results, especially around improving the quality of the information displayed on our product pages, such as documents, citations…

Job location : This position is based out of Shared Business Services (SBS), Bangalore, India .

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: MSc in Chemistry

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in scientific content writing or demonstrated writing skills

Technical Skills / Competencies:

Proficient in the English language with demonstrated superior writing, copyediting, proofreading, and research skills
Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content marketing strategies are preferred not mandatory.
Basic understanding of current research trends and key players within the life science chemicals business
Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint)
Experience in Digital marketing, product management, tactical marketing, technical support, R&D, sales, or some combination thereof will be an added advantage

Behavioral Competencies:

Proactive, collaborative team player with good interpersonal communications skills.
Proven ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
