Roles & Responsibilities:
The prime responsibility of the AMS India team is to provide support to Portfolio Managers globally and indulge in activities that leads seamless reporting for the Asset Management business. Team also looks into various checks related to Analytics & Data Quality for portfolio management tools used by PMs.
Additional responsibilities will include maintenance of production infrastructure and maintaining controls for any changes to production.
The role requires attention to detail, an awareness of the risks involved and an ability to work under pressure and strict adherence to deadlines.
Specific Responsibilities:
Start of Days Checks on Price and Analytics.
Ability to produce and interpret results from internal clients. Ability to foresee and navigate team and business through upcoming issues.
Manage deliverables while servicing all ad hoc queries and requests.
Liaise with third party providers to validate Daily Variance on Analytics.
Responsibility for Maintenance of static data within the system, performance data validation & reconciliation.
Responsibility for Identifying and classifying assets within the system
Responsibility for Running and distribution of reports, running of pre-defined queries (jobs) in the system, preparation and production of MIS/presentation.

Core Skill-sets

Have the ability to work independently and to proactively seek guidance from others as needed
Prior experience on applications such as Bloomberg is needed for the job
Strong team player and has the capacity to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams

Positive outlook and a desire to stretch themselves to achieve both personal and functional success.
Partners well with peers, subordinates, managers, and LOB and functional partners
Capability to manage and handle escalations by liaising with the internal & external stakeholders of the business.

Competencies

Knowledge of Investment products.
Worked and desire to work in an automated Processing environment
Control Oriented
Must be highly organized and able to work to tight deadlines
Client Focused & having Risk awareness
Needs excellent attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism / initiative
Basic knowledge about the securities market and different financial products
Excellent MS skills ideally to macro level
Knowledge of market data providers
Qualifications
Strong Academics background with approx. 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
Language requirement

Fluent English (Verbal and Written)
