Job Description : About the opportunity
Department Description
The Bonus team is COE catering end-to-end accounting and reporting of bonus costs across FIL.
Purpose of the Role
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain a broad understanding of financial controllership and its role in FIL’s Financial Services business. The role will be primarily around managing and owning the end-to-end Bonus accrual process including FI shares which is a Centre of Excellence in India Finance. The successful applicant will be exposed to sensitive data and will be required to maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility of end-to-end Bonus accrual process (COE in India Finance) including FI shares shares/PSP units
MI Reporting – Monthly analysis of movement in bonus costs
Audit for all entities across geographies for Bonus charge & accruals – Group and local audits
Annual cycles for bonus payout including FI shares/PSP units
Assistance in project implementation related to Bonus systems/processes
Interaction with senior stakeholders including HR
Experience and Qualifications Required
Technical
Qualified ( or part-qualified) CA/ MBA Finance with up to 4-5 years of relevant work experience in Finance.
Strong analytical skills including knowledge of accounting principles.
Shows attention to detail and an appetite to dive into issues in depth as needed;
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packages; Proficient with Microsoft Excel;
Knowledge of CFP, Essbase, HFM and JDE would be an advantage.
Collaborative approach to develop, share, accept and implementation of ideas
Identify opportunities & implement solutions to improve process
Business Facing

Strong written and verbal communication skills;
