What Are We Looking For?
Contentstack is looking for an Technical Writer
Roles and responsibilities
Plan, analyze, and author high-quality technical documentation in easy-to-understand and simple language
Create user guides, API documentation, microcopies, tutorials, blog posts, release notes, video scripts and more for multiple releases of one or more products
Work closely with various departments to understand project requirements and independently gather information from subject matter experts
Work better on deadlines
Requirements:
0-2 years of industry experience as an effective technical writer
Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, across multiple geographies
Strong organizational and planning skills
Intellectually curious and learner for life
What Really Gets Us Excited About You?
Experience in working with product based start-up companies
Knowledge of working with SAAS products.
Experience with Typed programming languages like TypeScript or Flow is preferred
Exposure to databases like MongoDB, Redis, and/or any Relational databases is preferred.
