Job Description : GFL Environmental is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team based out of Southfield, Michigan! The Billing Specialist will primarily focus will be on monthly Trux billing, handle monthly demands of completing the billing process, and participate in all other billing functions as needed.Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly customer invoicesMaintain and review bill cyclesCreate invoices, transmit file to print and post billing transactionsInput customer invoices in the billing systemMaintain strong relations with other departmentsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of billing processRespond to customer questions and requestsOther functions, as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Competencies: High school diploma or GED requiredGeneral accounting experience, experience in billingExcellent communication skills, both written and oralAbility to maintain strong working relationships, with all levels of management and non-management personnelAble to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independentlyPossess strong logic, and ability to take initiativeTime management skills, must be able to allocate timeHigh proficiency in computer skills is key to successWe thank you for your interest.
