Job Description : Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the coordination and execution of digital marketing strategy and performance reporting activities for the corporate newsroom and social media, as well as working across the organization’s diverse set of companies in the food, sports and entertainment, and development industries. This role will also have the unique opportunity to support high-profile communications, marketing and event needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a consistent approach to measuring and tracking impact of Ilitch Companies News Hub and associated social media content – including KPIs, system and tools for media monitoring, social media listening, measurement, tracking, reputation monitoring and tracking.Use analytics to identify content insights and measure the performance of published content.Plan and manage strategic paid social campaigns; create amplification strategy for News Hub and Ilitch Companies social (internally and externally).Collect and synthesize data across channels (paid, earned, owned) using various social listening and analytical tools.Prepare regular reports that evaluate effectiveness of communication strategies against objectives.Stay current with the latest digital media and social measurement trends – as well as relevant industry trends.Monitor incoming responses from email communications and follow-up as necessary.Supplemental Job FunctionsProvide planning and on-site support for large-scale events such as colleague events, ground breakings, grand openings, press events, etc.Ensure scheduling, coordination, and communication between team members across in-house departments as well as outside organizations/consultants.Minimum Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBachelor’s degree in related fieldMinimum 5 years related experience in communications, marketing or businessProficiency in analyzing and interpreting data from platforms such as Google AnalyticsStrong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with internal stakeholdersPossess the highest integrity and ethical standardsPassion for digital marketing and analyticsFlexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a wholeAbility to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutionsStrong command of reasoned, measured decision-making based upon analysis and insightsHighly self-motivated individual with superior attention to detail and a desire to deliver exceptional results for business objectivesProficient in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and ExcelStrong attention to detail.Self-starter, go-getter mentality.Outstanding work ethic.Ability to maintain confidential information.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Marketing: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
