Job Description
Documentation for Tax Rebates, Benefits, Duty drawbacks and Tax Incentives; Liaise with Tax Authorities for timely refunds
Advise the business on matters related to Export Import, ensure the processes of Import Export being followed and the company claims the export incentives of Advance licenses, EPCG License, Duty drawback of exports, GST refunds, SEIS, MEIS, and project imports, SVB etc. Represent these issues with tax authorities and coordinate in resolving the issues and related litigations
Monitor compilation and submission of periodical returns to Tax authorities
Monitor the tax assets and tax receivables, coordinate with respective authorities and ensure timely refunds.
Handle audit by tax authorities; Assessments.
Keep track of updates in Tax Laws and define the systems/procedures to meet the requirements
Assist in Audits by external/statutory/government auditors
Registration with tax authorities under various direct and indirect tax laws
Tax compliances, reporting to Corporate tax team, Transfer Pricing. Tax litigation etc
The Successful Applicant
CA with 18 to 25 years of total experience in the handling taxation. Proficiency in indirect taxes as well as direct taxes.
Exposure in transfer pricing, customs and DGFT matters (advance license, Duty drawback, MEIS, SEIS etc.) ; and GST.
Good knowledge and experience in corporate income tax, taxation of PE, handling DTAA, and tax planning for EPC projects
From an EPC/IPP Company only
Not looking for candidates from Consulting
Good interpersonal skills
