One who loves finding creative ways to solve design challenges and improve the customer experience – with words. As a UX writer, will be an advocate for Engagedly’s design, shaping product experiences by creating useful, meaningful text that helps users complete tasks with zero friction. You will be responsible to set the vision for content strategy and drive cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touchpoints.As a stellar writer, your portfolio of work should demonstrate content that simplifies the overall user experience. You will work in collaboration with people in a variety of UX design-related jobs including researchers, product managers, engineers and customer operations.The Responsibilities – What will you do?Participate in creating a content development strategy in line with the goals of the product. Craft consistent, clear, and concise content to ensure that text and visuals achieve perfect harmonyWork closely with product teams to gain a deep understanding of the product and customer pain points.Researching, strategizing and writing content to guide users through an intuitive and easy-to-use experience. Think like a user and create a strategy that works in concert with the user interface.Collaborate with product managers and product designers to shape the product experience through strategy, tone, and language.Ensure that the copy meets legal, compliance, and business requirements, while still being creative, fresh and compelling.Make use of available analytical reports to identify opportunities to improve the product experience.Conduct concept and usability testing to validate ideas and iterate on the content accordingly.Solid understanding of user-centered design methods across the full design lifecycle.Deliver the product’s message from the inside out and make sure that message is consistent, easy to understand, andConduct competition and customer analysis based on target demographicsFind ways to validate UX copy through user testing, triaging customer tickets, and heat mapping.Ensure consistency in the voice of our product and brand across all product areasThe Requirements – What Skills do you Need?5+ years of experience as a user experience writer or similar role.Have a portfolio/research case studies that demonstrate UX/copywriting capabilities, documentation skills.A well-trained eye for excellent writing, consistency and detail.Comfortable using design tools such as Figma/ Miro / Adobe Suite is a plus.Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies.A naturally curious mindset, and a positive and imaginative approach to problem solving.A drive to keep up with the emerging digital trends and culture, and engaging with the wider digital creative community.Degree in UX Design & Research/Psychology/User Experience/Human Computer Interaction or any related field would be plus.Why should I join Engagedly?You get to directly contribute to a fast-growing product, in a domain that has seen tremendous growthWork independently with your chosen methods to drive resultsPhenomenal learning experience with guaranteed self-development & growthNo dearth to growing within the Product Design track.
