The Role: Marketing Analytics Analyst Lead
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented analyst to join our team in support of Marketing functions. In this role, you will work closely with our growing Marketing team to manage data requests and provide insights and analysis. You’ll assess marketing tactics as well as product usage and behavior in order to reveal opportunities, help manage spending, streamline processes, and continually refine our ability to explain marketing performance for executive-level action.
This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally between Data & Marketing while directly contributing to Gemini’s growth. This position is full-time, remote optional.
Minimum Qualifications
4-5 years in a data-centric role with at least 3-4 in a marketing capacity
The ability to interpret data and provide relevant context to explain marketing performance, industry shifts, and usage across multiple platforms will be key to success in this role.
Exceptional communicator across all levels of the organization; able to effectively tell stories with data and present findings to a non-technical audience
Experience in generating insights for user journey engagement through digital channels
Some knowledge of digital marketing measurement solutions (e.g. MMM, MTA, Data Clean Rooms)
Proficient with analytical tools and languages supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization – Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Google Analytics, Mixpanel
Preferred Qualifications
Some knowledge of programming languages to aid in analysis (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
Experience in fintech a plus
Experience in credit card a plus
Experience building out a media mix model that informed budget allocation
Proficiency in audience segmentation and targeting strategy

Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting
Build dashboards (via Looker and other analytics tools) that illustrate how key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are performing, trending, and changing over time. Provide “color” and insights from the findings and make recommendations to the business.
Manage reports to provide various teams with an understanding of how our marketing efforts drive outcomes:
Acquisition
Sign-ups, traders, various cost metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS), etc.
Retention
Funnel metrics, tenure and churn, retention analysis, etc.
Product/Product Marketing
Audience and cohort analysis, product usage, etc.
Research
Leverage enhanced attribution and modeling on marketing platforms to understand the consumer journey and optimal pathway to conversion. Socialize and present findings to the media strategy and activation teams to aide in their efforts
Create an audience-based analysis to understand how different segments contribute to overall revenue. The ultimate goal is to be able to use this analysis to optimize media budget to segments with higher lifetime value (LTV)
Development of customer profiles, cohorts and audience for use in campaigns and experiments
Collaboration
Partner closely with the Data Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams to maintain data hygiene, introduce new data sources, and automate reporting and process
Work with each of the marketing verticals to ensure respective channels, platforms, and tools capture the necessary data for your analytics purposes.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Experience: 4 – 5 years in Data-centric role in a Marketing Capacity( Required )
Graduation: Bachelor’s Degree( Required )
Proficient in English( Required )
