Position : PLM/CAD Administrator
Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTIONThe PLM/CAD Administrator will support engineering tools and process automation by collaborating with teams responsible for working with SAP, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD systems. Responsibilities will include engineering systems support, engineering application development testing, and deployment of engineering workflow.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Deliver and manage implementation of PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) suite * Provide administration of Windchill environment. This includes but not limited to the following: o system monitoring; o reviewing systems logs for errors; o system patches; o clean up unreferenced files; o maintenance build updates; o tuning; and o issue resolution * Provide front line user support of PLM functionality and data availability * Define and run PLM data quality checks to ensure smooth part and BOM transfer to the ERP system * Maintain, execute, and troubleshoot CAD-PLM-SAP interface * Review changes on Bill of Materials as well as Technical Product Documentation together with Development leads, packaging engineers and/or factories * Support in creation of Bill of materials (BOMs) defining multiple levels * Security administration of new user or group permissions * Develop PLM training material and instruct users * Support the engineers in implementing Engineering Change Requests, updating the configuration of products and by this maintaining the Technical Product Documentation in PLM Windchill. * Promote use of existing CAD/PLM Software and best practices to help team in adapting PLM process * Document and propose improvements to PLM data model and SAP interface * Participate in Windchill and SAP UATs. (User acceptance Tests) * Maintain the multi-site servers & their synchronizationSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONQualification: * PTC Windchill experience (5+ years) relating to installing, upgrading, integrating and migrating a Windchill environment A Plus: Certifications (Certified Enterprise PLM Administrator) * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) preferred * Knowledge of ERP SAP Business one is desirableSkills: * In-depth knowledge of Windchill PLM system as an administrator (preferably) or as a user Knowledge of PLM, Change Management, Part Management, BOM management, Document Management and Configuration Management. * Excellent interpersonal skills, listening, written and oral communication skills Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language * Proven ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize, and execute tasks while under pressureJob Type: Full-timeSalary: ₹1,200,000.00 – ₹1,500,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:total work: 5 years (Required)Production & Assembly Occupations: 1 year (Required)Product Lifecycle Management: 1 year (Required)Speak with the employer+91-XXXXXXXXXX
