Job Description : Job Overview
The Rackspace Technology Internal Audit team is looking for a Senior Auditor with passion for the latest cloud technologies to develop their career at the #1 multicloud company. The Senior Auditor will play a critical role in conducting global business process and integrated audits to include, but not limited to, cloud billing and revenue processes, third-party vendor management, corporate governance, and SOX control testing. Working with business owners across the company, communicating business and financial risk, and adapting communication to the audience will be essential in providing recommendations for improvements to business processes and controls across the company. Demonstration of professional judgment and an understanding of performing detailed data analysis will be imperative.
In this role you will: Complete audit projects in accounting, finance, or business operations Perform annual SOX control testing for Management and external auditors Be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and completing business process and integrated audits Analyze data requiring a review of a variety of business factors to provide solutions to problems
Interact with business owners to coordinate the audit and communicate audit findings and recommendations Recommend improvements for business processes and controls based on risk assessment and process evaluation Develop reports to communicate audit recommendations to management and the Audit Committee Assist with the oversight of other auditors, including reviewing work papers prepared by team members and aiding in the formal development of individual team members through coaching and continuous feedback
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field 6 years or more of related audit experience Strong audit knowledge, including internal controls testing, accounting, documentation techniques, and business processes Achieved or working towards professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE
