This position will be required to have flexibility to work some hours during the US Pacific time zone.
Responsibilities:
Support Revenue Team Initiatives:

Obtain a thorough understanding of the revenue process from initiation of New Product Introduction (NPI) request through to the accounting close
Understand systems utilized in the revenue accounting close process including integrations between systems
Support revenue team by validating system enhancement results prior to release
Represent revenue team on India specific initiatives and/or regulatory requirements that impact revenue accounting systems and processes
Partner with revenue and Data Science team members to increase process automation
Prepare month end revenue accounting close tasks such as system reconciliations or fluctuation analysis as required
Assist with gathering necessary documentation to support annual SOX and Financial Statement Audits
Create and maintain training materials and desktop procedures

ERP implementation”

Play a role in the company wide initiative to implementation a new ERP solution
Gain understanding of existing revenue data warehouse structure and if necessary build queries to inform decision making throughout the implementation project
Collaborate with system integrators to design a strategy for conversion of OTC transactional data (booking, billing, revenue) from existing platform into the new ERP
Develop and perform user acceptance testing including documenting detailed test steps and outcomes for each

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems
3+ years progressive revenue accounting experience in a similar role. Public accounting experience desired. Experience with SaaS revenue recognition and large volume datasets preferred.
Experience in automating revenue recognition standard (ASC 606) through Oracle or other leading ERP a plus
Proficient with GSuite applications and flowchart tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
Basic knowledge of SQL query writing
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute while your management is located in the US
Ability to utilize independent judgment in establishing the accuracy and reasonableness of information
