Job Description : Position Summary: Work proactively within the organization to obtain an accurate billing cycle. Maintain and/or enhance the billing system to capture all the necessary data to accurately produce a timely billing platform. Ensure that services ordered are billed accurately, changes and/or modifications and disconnects are all consistent with the business platform._Expert in Excel and some prior experience in Telecom Field._Responsible for monthly invoice analysis, validation and approval of billing cycles.Improve the speed of the invoicing process so customers receive invoices within 48 hours of cycle closing dateWork with print vendor to ensure clean and timely data exchanges, record count validation, and maintain supply of paper and envelopes.Coordinate with IT and marketing on invoice messaging content and invoice application.Develop and perform complex invoice analysis to identify errors, discrepancies, andopportunities for savings or revenue enhancement.Validate usage and charges from vendors against customer invoice records and investigate any discrepancies.Monitor, investigate and respond to irregularities or disputes from carriers, provide call records or other requested data, and work on resolutions with other departments.Provide trending and analysis of product / customer / premise informationMaintain a telecom inventory database and reconcile telecom inventory to invoicingPresent escalation issues, status reports and findings to managerWorks directly with department analysts and managers to plan, design, test, and implement automated key metrics reporting solutions.Work in collaboration with people from other departments, including IT, Customer Care and Accounting.
