Urgent opening for radio Officer/ Operator for Mumbai.
Experience & Education Qualification:
COP 2nd Class with GMDSS poC issued by the MMD Or
Second Mate / NWKO CoC h{lders having GMDSS CoC Or
Retired ‘Petty Officer Radio (Tel)’ or ‘Chief Petty Officer Radio (Tel)’ from Indian Navy ‘Communication Branch’, who have completed L.R.O. (TEL) & P.O.R (TEL) courses,
Job Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Candidate should possess excellent computer and IT skills
To work independently and on rotational watches
Employment will be contractual and designation will be as Radio Officer / Operator.
The candidate will be working in shifts rotating weekly viz. Morning, Evening & Night.
Posting will be as per the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) requirements at the
LRIT / DG Comm center at Nav Bhavan.
Posting at LRIT/DG Comm center requires manning of the DG Comm & LRIT Centers
24×7 in shifts.
‘l’o undertake all job tunctions assigncd by the Directoratc Gcneral of Shipping (DGS)
and Marine Consultants employed at LRIT/DG Comm Centre.
